CHEMICAL PEELS
Chemical peels are cosmetic treatments that use chemical solutions to improve the feel of the skin. It can be applied to the hands, face and neck. If you have acne, fine lines, oily skin, sun spots, blotchy pigmentation, age spots, melasma, or wrinkles, a chemical peel treatment might just be the skin care solution you’re looking for.
The formulas contain purified ingredients, such as Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acids, and antioxidants that work at the molecular level to exfoliate dead skin cells and promote healthy cell growth. Special brands containing only the purest, non-irritating ingredients are used and are safe to repeat as needed for all skin tones and types. A chemical peel treatment can last anywhere around 30 to 90 minutes and you can start feeling the results right after your first peel.
Benefits of chemical peel include:
- Improves fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, dryness, and uneven skin tone
- Reduces the appearance of acne scars
- More even skin tone
- Improves sun-damaged skin
- Smoother, younger-looking skin
Benefits of dermaplaning include:
- Improves skin texture and tone
- Enhances the absorption of topical products
- Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Minimizes enlarged pores
- Improves makeup application
- Creates healthier, more radiant skin
DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning is a form of physical exfoliation designed to remove the top-most layer of dead skin and rid the skin of fine vellus hair or peach fuzz. This procedure uses a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin’s surface, leaving behind smoother, brighter, and more luminous skin. It’s different from microdermabrasion treatments, where your aesthetician will use a minimally abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin.
During your dermaplaning treatment, you shouldn’t feel any pain but typically, your doctor will apply a numbing spray or local anesthesia to avoid any discomfort. You will notice that your skin looks brighter immediately after your first dermaplaning treatment. Side effects of dermaplaning are temporary and go away on their own within a few days.
